As we reflect on the great mystery that is the Holy Trinity; Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we gather to celebrate Holy Mass as the Catholic community of St. Joseph's Parish. On this, the Ascension Sunday of our Easter season we join Msgr. Kevin Kostelnik and the community of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Long Beach for Holy Mass. With all of the violence and tragedy in our World in the recent days and month, we call upon the Holy Spirit to inspire us in our part of bring about the Peace and Unity that our Lord wants to grant to the world. Let our hearts sing out "Come Holy Spirit" and may we open our ears and our hearts to his message and be inspired to do each of our individual parts. Let our prayer be honest and from the bottom of our hearts and let our actions unite with that prayer to bring about positive change for our communities and our world. Our Parish rejoices together this weekend as we welcome fifty-nine new children to the Holy table as they receive their First Communion.
