Our Members: All members of the St. Joseph Parish Community congregation are invited to lend themselves accordingly, to the following groups:
Meetings: Weekly rehearsals according to individual group schedules.
Activities: Weekly musical rehearsals. Provide weekly music at 10:30 Mass and Feasts/Holy Days. Provide music in outreach capacity (eg. hospitals, nursing homes, etc.). Participate in Music Ministry fundraisers.
8:30 Mass on the Grass
This group was formed as a response to Covid and has limited capacity for singers and instrumentalists. However, we are particularly interested in engaging our youth who equipped to serve vocally. Please see Vivian after the Mass or leave a message at 562-594-4757.
10:30 Mass
This SATB choir sings weekly at the 10:30 Mass and other special Masses throughout the church year. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the church and at 9:45am on Sunday mornings. We would love to grow our choir and have you join us in this life-giving, spirit-nurturing activity. You don’t need to be able to read music, the only requirement is that you are able to sing on pitch. Please see Vivian after the Mass or leave a message at 562-594-4757.
