Dear Parish Family:
There is no greater joy for the parish and for me the pastor then to celebrate the Sacraments of Initiation with our young people. We are blessed at Saint Joseph to have almost 2 acres of lawn. To accommodate our young people and their guests during this restricted time, between now and September, our parish is hosting four celebrations for First Communion and four celebrations for Confirmation. In my homily, I told the young people that while the pandemic has turned their lives upside down, the coronavirus could not stop the Holy Spirit! Mass on the grass worked out great and I hope to see you this Sunday as we celebrate the Eucharist outside at 8:30 AM. Final details are being worked out and I’ll send them out this Friday.
During this past week, the Holy Spirit descended upon St. Joseph’s Parish. Our parish owes a debt of gratitude to the many catechists and volunteers who, during the past two years, prepared these young people for the Sacraments. Special thanks to the leadership team including Ms. Sonya Yurak, Joe Voigt and Marc Leon. Enjoy these photos from the celebrations during the past few days. Pray that these young disciples will be fervent and on fire with their faith!
