Dear Parish Family,
It’s sad and disappointing that yesterday Governor Newsom ordered that all Churches and Houses of Worship be closed immediately. The Archdiocese has issued guidelines and our Parish Church of St. Joseph is now closed and all indoor Masses and liturgical services are suspended until further notice.
Additionally, the Governor’s directives include closures of parish offices. Our office is now closed to the public and all visitors. However, our pastoral staff is still working. The Archbishop has encouraged us to communicate regularly with parishioners, return calls to answer questions, and reassure individuals families that our parishes are still with you in prayer and to help with any needs you may have. Our pastoral team will be working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM till 3:00 PM. We are here for you and please feel free to call or e-mail us if you need anything!
We will continue to stream the weekend Mass through all of our social media links. Updates on the current status and latest news will be available on our website and over 700 of our families will continue to receive links through your constant contact email. You can sign up on the website.
In a letter to all Pastors, the Archbishop has asked us to remind you that the “The risk of coronavirus is real, and it is dangerous. While these orders are discouraging and disappointing, this is the time to pray for one another, trust in Jesus, and focus on the care and love He has for each one of us!”
I’m here for you and know that I’m praying for you and your families! Be safe and well and know that the Lord is with us!!
Peace and Blessings,
